A mileage tracker app for iPhone that helps drivers log fuel, charging, MPG, MPGe, and maintenance for gas, electric, and hybrid vehicles.

Log odometer entries, fill-ups, charging sessions, and fuel costs in one place so every vehicle record stays easy to review.
Track MPG, MPGe, and energy usage for gas, electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles with calculations built for each case.
Create maintenance reminders and log service history so oil changes, tire rotations, and repair records stay organized.
Why drivers use SimpleFuel
SimpleFuel is designed for drivers who want a cleaner way to keep a fuel log, track efficiency trends, and understand cost per mile without falling back to spreadsheets.
Track fill-ups, MPG, fuel cost, and long-term efficiency with a mileage log with a clean, modern iOS design.
Record charging sessions, energy use, and MPGe so electric and hybrid driving data stays comparable over time.
Keep service records and maintenance reminders tied to the same vehicle history as your fuel and mileage entries.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. SimpleFuel is designed for gas, electric, and hybrid vehicles.
SimpleFuel uses MPG and MPGe as the units of efficiency. MPGe (Miles Per Gallon equivalent) is an EPA-standardized measurement indicating how far an electric or alternative fuel vehicle can travel on an amount of energy equal to one gallon of gasoline. One gallon of gas is estimated to have the energy equivalent of 33.7 kWh of electricity.
Gas vehicles: MPG = miles driven divided by the amount of gas used at fill-up.
Electric vehicles: MPGe = miles driven divided by energy used, where energy is calculated as kilowatt-hours used divided by 33.7.
Non plug-in hybrids: Same as gas vehicles because electric power is derived from the gas engine.
Plug-in hybrids: For plug-in hybrids, SimpleFuel uses two efficiency views. At a full gas fill-up, it calculates a combined MPGe using miles driven since the previous full fill-up divided by total energy used in that cycle, where total energy is gas used plus charged electricity converted using 33.7 kWh = 1 gallon of gasoline. Charge entries are tracked separately as electric-only efficiency between full charges. As a result, the most representative overall hybrid efficiency is the MPGe shown on gas fill-ups.
SimpleFuel+ allows you to track up to three active vehicles and review their fuel efficiency and maintenance history individually.
At launch, SimpleFuel+ includes support for tracking up to three active vehicles and recording services and maintenance. More premium features will be added over time.
SimpleFuel currently runs exclusively on iPhones and is compatible with iOS 18 and newer.
